What is a seal?<\/h2>\n

We need a filling when the tooth has been damaged by germs and is damaged (that is, it has what we call caries). We can perceive it either by noticing something black on the tooth, which can also be a hole, or by having sensitivity and pain in something we drink or eat.<\/p>\n

If we have caries it is important to make a seal to stop the germs from flowing to the pulp (the nerve of the tooth).<\/p>\n

If germs enter the tooth nerve, the pain can become much greater, the infection will spread faster and treatment will be more time consuming as denervation will be needed.<\/p>\n
